WSCLC staff participated in Wear it Purple on Friday 25th August, to show our support for supportive, safe and accepting environments for rainbow young people.
Wear it Purple was co-founded in 2010 by Katherine Hudson and Scott Williams, and has developed into an international movement. The day aims to stop bullying and harassment faced by young people on the basis of being sexuality and/or gender diverse. Wearing it purple can help show support for rainbow coworkers, clients and community members, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, Brotherboy and/or Sistergirl.
