Volunteer Students
Our Legal team are looking for 10-12 students interested in volunteering at a busy legal practice providing free legal advice and support to people in the Western Sydney area.
We need volunteers for both our Parramatta and Rooty Hill office.
The successful applicants would be exposed to a diverse range of legal matters and gain useful skills in:
• client intake;
• legal database management; and
• other tasks as they arise (e.g. legal research or developing community legal education resources).
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

And you’ll also have the opportunity to attend the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal to help our advocates with Conciliations, Formal Hearings and Evidence Preparation. Your role as a Volunteer is vital and core to our daily operations, and therefore we only ask that you are able to prioritise tasks, have great interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to learn and an interest in social justice. Our team is a tight-knit, progressive and come from a multi-disciplinary background, and we would love for you to join and add your experience or stories to ours. If you are interested in this role, or would like to know more information, send our Volunteer Coordinator (Alicia) an email at [email protected]
