Multicultural Legal Service (MLS)

Professionals In Social Justice.

We offer free legal and social support services to people in need.

We offer a range of FREE legal services to multicultural people living in Western Sydney, including migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and people who are culturally and linguistically diverse.

To assess whether you are eligible for our service, we will take into account factors such as the type and urgency of your legal enquiry, whether you live in Western Sydney, your income and personal circumstances, and your legal capability.

We prioritise our services for people with barriers to accessing justice and accept referrals from legal services, community services and other non-legal programs.

We can help with FREE legal information, referrals or advice and in some cases, representation and can offer a free interpreter if needed.  We can also deliver free legal education and presentations to the community.

We also run outreaches in the community. We have outreaches in Auburn, Berala, Granville, Guildford, Ryde, and more.

The easiest and quickest way for you to contact us is by using our online form to tell us about your legal enquiry:

Online Safety Bar Quick Exit

This website has a “quick exit” button near the top right-hand corner of each page. This button will close the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre website and open the Bureau of Meteorology website. The button may be helpful if you are worried that you are being monitored and you are concerned that someone is about to find you looking at this site.

However, the quick close button will not delete your browser history. This means that if the person checks your browser history they will be able to see that you have visited this website.

For information on deleting your internet history click here.

If someone is monitoring your online activity using spyware or monitoring devices, they will still be able to see that you have visited this website.

Remember: Deleting large parts of your internet history may alert your abuser.

To discuss your online safety call DVConnect 1800 811 811 (24-hour telephone advice line) or 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732) (24-hour telephone counselling line).
