2021 CLCP Client Survey Results

2021 Client Survey Results (1)

In October 2021, CLCP took part in the biennial client feedback survey as part of the National Legal Assistance Partnership (NLAP). The survey was co-ordinated by CLCNSW and conducted state-wide by all community legal centres who receive NLAP funding. Despite the difficult circumstances, we were able to survey more than 100 clients who received a legal service in October, with overwhelmingly positive results:

  • 92% of clients felt it was easy to contact us when they needed help
  • 100% of clients felt we listened to their legal problem
  • 96% of clients said we helped them understand their legal problem
  • 97% of clients would recommend our service to other people
  • 83% of clients said our assistance improved their level of stress
  • 80% of clients said our assistance improved their overall wellbeing
  • 68% of clients said our assistance improved their money situation

When asked what they would have done if not for WSCLC, client responses included ‘I would be really stressed’, ‘I would have given up on it’, ‘I wouldn’t know my rights’ and ‘I had no idea as I’m new to Australia’. We would like to thank all of the clients who took the time to provide their feedback, which we will put towards improving our service delivery in 2022.
